Laytonville Ambulance Cuts Back Service

Laytonville Fire Department has announced that it will cut back its ambulance service to only areas within its Fire District boundaries as of November 1st. Currently the Laytonville Ambulance serves all of Zone 2 on the map below. The yellow area is the area affected. This area will now have to depend on an ambulance coming from Willits which will add at least 30 minutes to any response. People are understandably upset by this reduction in service and we will gather and publish more information on this issue as it becomes available. See links below.
